Pakistan Phytopathological Society (PPS) is a prestigious organization associated with the International Society for Plant Pathology (ISPP). Established in 1983, PPS aims to improve the quality of plant pathology research and teaching in Pakistan. It was founded in response to the recommendations made by the late Dr. Abdul Hafiz, who identified the lack of dynamic research leadership and collaboration in the field.
