Palaeos is a collaborative project dedicated to the exploration of the history of life on Earth. Originally starting as two separate projects, Palaeos merged to create a comprehensive resource focusing on the evolution of organisms over millions of years. The platform delves into ecological communities, dynasties, and the intricate relationships between various life forms.

The website is structured around the geological timescale, emphasizing deep time and the evolution of life on our planet. While also touching on the possibility of life evolving elsewhere in the universe, the main focus remains on Earth's rich biological history. Palaeos aims to provide information free of charge, inviting contributions from individuals passionate about sharing their knowledge.

Through constant updates and revisions, the site strives to offer an interactive and informative experience for those curious about the wonders of evolution
