He was an artist, philanthropist, and a discerning collector of objets d’art and historical objects. After his death, the house and its contents eventually passed into the hands of The Captain O.F. Gollcher OBE Art & Archaeological Foundation.

Palazzo Falson Historic House Museum, formerly the residence of Capt. Olof Frederick Gollcher OBE, is a space that pays homage to his passion for art, philanthropy, and collecting historical artifacts. Following his passing, the property and its treasures were entrusted to The Captain O.
F. Gollcher OBE Art & Archaeological Foundation. Originally constructed in the 13th century on the grounds of "La Rocca" in Mdina, the Palazzo underwent transformations over the years, now standing as a symbol of rich history and cultural significance.
Visitors can explore the house, exhibitions, and even participate in children's workshops. The venue is available for hire, making it a unique location for events. Through extensive restoration efforts, the museum officially opened in 2007, inviting the public to delve into the legacy of Captain Gollcher.
