The Paleontological Society is a professional organization dedicated to advancing knowledge and understanding of the fossil record, paleontology, and the evolution of life. Founded in 1908, it supports research and education across invertebrate and vertebrate paleontology, micropaleontology, and paleobotany. Its diverse membership includes students, teachers, researchers, museum professionals, and avocational paleontologists from around the world.
