Palliative Care Australia (PCA) is the national peak body for palliative care in Australia. Since 1991, PCA has been working towards promoting and ensuring high-quality palliative care for all Australians who need it. Collaborating closely with consumers, member organizations, and the palliative care workforce, PCA strives to improve access to and advocate for the importance of palliative care.

PCA believes that everyone living with a life-limiting illness should have access to high-quality palliative care when and where they need it. They support healthcare professionals, service providers, and carers involved in providing palliative care and also work with specialist palliative care teams to address complex symptoms and educate other professionals. With a vision of a world where quality palliative care is available to all, PCA leads a unified voice to strengthen the collective impact towards excellence in palliative care
