About Palmafrique
Palmafrique is an agro-industrial company that produces and markets certified quality oils. With its roots dating back to the privatization of ex-Palmindustrie in 1997, Palmafrique is a Ivorian Public Limited Company with a Board of Directors. They own and manage 8,400 hectares of industrial plantations spread across 3 sites. Additionally, Palmafrique has commercial relationships with nearly 3,200 small and medium-sized farmers, covering over 18,000 hectares of palm oil plantations.
Palmafrique operates two palm oil mills with an annual capacity of 200,000 tons, located in Eloka and Yassap. They also have a palm kernel press and a soap factory in Anguédédou. As a responsible and community-oriented company, Palmafrique provides essential amenities like water, electricity, and schools to the workers and neighboring communities in their production sites.
Palmafrique prioritizes working closely with village farmers by providing training, logistical support, and technical assistance to improve their crop yields. This approach aligns with their commitment to sustainable agricultural practices and support for local development initiatives.
Furthermore, Palmafrique stays up-to-date with industry news and innovations, contributing to the conversation on palm oil and its global impact.
