Palm Beach Watercolor Society

Palm Beach Watercolor Society is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting excellence and education in watermedia for its members and the public. Supported by membership dues, patrons, and contributions, the society is run by volunteers and welcomes members to help with its projects and committees.

The society holds monthly meetings, generally on the second Thursday, featuring demonstrations by local and nationally known watermedia artists. Meetings are held on Zoom, with some also offered in person, and recordings may be available by email when permitted by the artist. Members can join workshops with professional artists, take part in virtual paint-ins with live models, and enter exhibitions featuring original work in watercolor, acrylic, ink, and collage. Membership also offers eligibility to submit work to shows, serve on committees, and join the board.

Palm Beach Watercolor Society invites the public to its exhibitions and educational programs for a small donation. Its outreach includes art projects with city and county groups, scholarships for three university or community college students each year, and art-supply donations to schools in Palm Beach and Broward counties.
