PalmettoPride is a brand dedicated to creating a litter-free South Carolina. Established by the South Carolina legislature, this organization is committed to fighting litter and maintaining the cleanliness, greenery, and beauty of the state. PalmettoPride offers various products and services to achieve its mission.
One of their key focuses is on prevention through education. They provide educational programs that encourage students of all ages to actively participate in litter prevention. These signature programs reach over 100,000 South Carolina students every year.
PalmettoPride also works closely with law enforcement agencies to enforce litter laws and the associated fines across the state. Moreover, PalmettoPride supports community groups by providing resources to expand cleanup efforts. Through multi-faceted PSA campaigns and community grants, they raise awareness and help prevent litter.
Since 2001, participants in PalmettoPride's programs and events have removed an impressive 88,861,039 pounds of litter from roads and natural areas. If you're passionate about keeping South Carolina beautiful, PalmettoPride welcomes volunteers to join their efforts. Get involved, plan a cleanup, or attend their events.
