Paloma

Paloma is tax automation software designed for small and mid-size accounting firms, helping teams manage the front end of tax season from client intake through preparation-ready workpapers. Its client intake process uses a single link, allowing clients to answer organizer questions and upload documents from their phones without downloading an app or navigating repeated portal resets. Automated reminders help firms collect outstanding materials, while AI document parsing extracts information from forms such as W-2s and 1099s. Paloma organizes client documents and generates compiled workpapers for review, giving preparers a structured file rather than a loose collection of paperwork.

The platform integrates with Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Gmail, Outlook, and QuickBooks, and backs up documents to the firm’s own drive. It is designed to work alongside existing tax software rather than replace it, delivering preparation-ready files for the tools a firm already uses. Paloma also highlights security measures including SOC 2 compliance, encryption in transit and at rest, multi-factor authentication, role-based access, and data retention and deletion controls.
