جمعية غزة للزراعة والبيئة

The Gaza Society for Agriculture and Environment (SAFE) is a Palestinian nonprofit organization established in 2002. It delivers humanitarian and development programs in Gaza to support communities affected by conflict and strengthen resilience and sustainability. SAFE works across four main areas: water, sanitation and shelter; protection, education and community support; food security, livelihoods and economic recovery; and health and nutrition.

Its services address both urgent needs and longer-term recovery. Activities include emergency water and sanitation, hygiene promotion, shelter assistance, debris removal and waste management, and basic rehabilitation. SAFE also supports protective and educational initiatives, community participation, agricultural recovery, income-generating opportunities, health awareness and nutrition-sensitive assistance. Its projects have included repairing shelters, providing bedding and dignity kits, installing wooden tents for displaced families, supplying classroom furniture made from recycled wood, and clearing rubble while sharing safety messages. The organization serves vulnerable and underserved people, with particular attention to women, young people and marginalized groups.
