About Pandemic PACT
Pandemic PACT is a research-tracking initiative that monitors and analyses global funding, clinical research registrations and evidence related to diseases with pandemic potential. It also covers broader research preparedness efforts, helping users understand the landscape and supporting work that can pivot in response to outbreaks.
The platform provides tools to visualise and explore datasets on research funding awards and clinical trial registrations recorded through the International Clinical Trials Registry Platform (ICTRP). Its resources bring together information from more than 30,000 research grants, hundreds of funders and over 1,200 clinical research registrations, representing more than $34 billion in research funding, according to figures shown on the site. Pandemic PACT also shares new research outputs, publications and news, and offers information about its team, partners, funders, data and practical use cases.
The initiative makes its visualisations and data openly available under a Creative Commons BY licence, with users asked to credit the source and authors.
