UWI Panoridim Steel Orchestra is a renowned brand in Jamaica, dedicated to expanding the appreciation and influence of steelpan music. Established as a non-profit cultural society under the University of the West Indies (UWI), Mona Campus, Panoridim is the oldest steelband in the country. Comprised of 26 talented musicians, including Jamaicans, other Caribbean islanders, and international students, the band's impact goes beyond its own performances. It has inspired the formation of various professional, church, and school bands throughout the island.

As a UWI club, Panoridim provides comprehensive training in steelpan technique and performance to its members, many of whom have become top-notch steelpan players, arrangers, directors, and composers in Jamaica. The orchestra showcases a diverse repertoire spanning classical, reggae, Latin, pop, folk, dancehall, jazz, and soca genres. Their commitment to excellence is reflected in their high-quality live performances, participation in local events, and success at the World Steelband Festivals in Trinidad.

Panoridim's concert season, known as Panfest, takes place during the second semester/summer, with occasional shows at Christmas. As the largest single steel orchestra in the country, UWI Panoridim Steel Orchestra plays a vital role in promoting and preserving the rich tradition of steelpan music in Jamaica.
