Panorundum

Panorundum provides virtual travel experiences designed for older adults, people living with dementia, and residents with limited mobility in care settings. Using VR headsets and high-quality 360-degree footage, the service brings peaceful natural landscapes, regional scenery, and personally meaningful places into the everyday care environment. Residents can experience the journeys while sitting or lying down, without needing to operate the equipment.

The offer is designed to be straightforward for care teams, with prepared headsets, pre-installed content, calm camera movement, short sessions, and options for individual or small-group use. Panorundum also provides a personal introduction and support, hygiene guidance, and optional disposable masks. Its experiences can support activation, reminiscence work, and conversations between residents and caregivers by prompting memories and emotional engagement.

The library includes destinations such as Alpine panoramas and the Lake Constance region, and Panorundum can create requested locations tailored to residents’ histories. Care facilities can explore the service through a pilot project, which includes equipment, selected experiences, onboarding, and a feedback discussion.
