Papageien im Glück

Papageien im Glück is a parrot boarding and care service in Brandenburg, founded and run by Antje Wenger, who has been welcoming birds since 2016. The pension provides attentive, species-conscious care designed around each parrot’s individual needs. Services include suitable accommodation, varied and species-appropriate nutrition, daily enrichment, and careful attention to cleanliness and hygiene.

The business also offers consultations on parrot housing and husbandry, including support for birds with disabilities or illness, socialization, and activities. Nutrition advice covers species-specific diets, introducing fruit and vegetables, dietary changes, and supplements. Further guidance is available on body language, behavioral challenges, behavior analysis, training, and enrichment therapy.

Antje also advises on administering and training for medication, including oral, topical, and inhaled treatments. Alongside boarding and consulting, Papageien im Glück shares the stories of rescued birds through its Herzensvögel project and helps parrots find loving, suitable homes through its placement service. The website provides booking and contact information, including scheduled drop-off and collection times
