Papageienwelt Burgau

Papageienwelt Burgau is a parrot-breeding operation based in Burgau, in the Swabian region of Germany. Established in 1997, it cares for approximately 120 breeding birds and focuses on macaws, cockatoos, Amazon parrots and African grey parrots. Its breeding facility covers more than 700 square metres, with heated indoor aviaries and planted outdoor aviaries that allow the birds to move between the two environments.

The website shares information about the operation’s breeding work, including reports on military macaws and hybrid macaws. Papageienwelt Burgau also welcomes parrots that need a new owner, offering a point of contact for people seeking to rehome a bird. The business presents its work as a long-standing commitment to parrot care, responsible keeping and breeding.

It is operated by Josef Guhm, who provides contact details for inquiries. The site also describes a current legal dispute over measures following an official inspection and invites supporters to contribute toward related legal costs, with updates promised as the matter develops
