Papegaaienhotel MERO is a Dutch specialist in holiday care and support for parrots and other hookbills. Founded by Meriana in 2018, the hotel is run by Meriana and Rob, who bring more than 29 years of experience as parrot owners. Its home-like boarding service includes three separate accommodation areas, outdoor flight space with a free-flight aviary, air purification and hygiene measures. Boarding is limited to tested birds, and owners may bring their bird’s usual food or arrange food through MERO. The team can keep owners updated during their bird’s stay with photos and videos.

MERO also offers behavioural guidance for birds showing problem behaviours, including an observation stay at the hotel before therapy.
