PAPERLAB is a research center dedicated to conducting policy-oriented applied research that focuses on solving problems rather than just diagnosing them. We also strive to foster a research environment by facilitating expert discussions and providing training to enhance the potential of aspiring researchers. Our projects include the Making New Experts platform, which aims to train individuals in various skills such as building and developing personal brands, mastering tele/video interviews, and effective writing for the media.

Additionally, we have partnered with the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace to establish the Central Asian Futures Network. Through our research and analytical work, our team members apply a multidisciplinary approach that combines academic knowledge with applied analytics skills. We have contributed to studies on various topics, including the state and prospects of research and analytical centers in Central Asia, the values and beliefs of Jehovah's Witnesses in Kazakhstan, and the needs of youth and women in utilizing civic technologies to address social issues.
