Golden Paragliding offers tandem paragliding adventures in Golden, Colorado, about 20 minutes from downtown Denver. Flying from Lookout Mountain, guests glide above Golden with views of the Front Range alongside experienced, USHPA-certified tandem instructors. No previous paragliding experience is required: instructors provide a briefing and guide each guest through the flight. The experience includes a scenic drive toward the launch area, a short uphill hike, and a tandem flight that typically lasts 5 to 15 minutes, depending on weather. Flights land at the designated landing zone in Golden.

The company’s main flying season runs from April through October, with occasional winter flights when conditions allow. Reservations are recommended because availability is limited and flights depend on the weather. A tandem instructional flight costs $300, with an optional photo package available for $30. Guests must be at least 18 and weigh between 100 and 225 pounds; the launch requires mobility for a short hike and a few running steps. Golden Paragliding also provides guidance on preparation, meeting arrangements, and weather-related cancellations.
