Paraíso Social de Aguada de Baixo is a social care institution founded in November 1999 by a group of friends committed to solidarity. Based in Aguada de Baixo, Portugal, it supports older people from the parish and surrounding areas, with a mission centered on their biopsychosocial well-being. Its social services include a day centre, residential care for older adults, and home support.

The institution’s two-storey residential facility has 22 single, double, and triple rooms, each with a private bathroom and balcony. Residents can also use communal and leisure spaces, including a cultural hall, a gathering hall, a garden, and a chapel dedicated to Our Lady of Amparo. Health and rehabilitation facilities include medical and nursing offices, a physiotherapy suite, and an infirmary for up to three residents who are bedridden. Its physiotherapy block, opened in 2006, features an equipped gym to support physical rehabilitation, mobility, and independence. Through its accommodation, social activities, health care, and support services, Paraíso Social works to provide quality care for older people in its community.
