ParalelnaPolis

Paralelná Polis is a community and initiative focused on freedom, decentralization, cryptocurrencies, and technologies that support independent ways of living. Based in Slovakia and currently operating as a virtual community, it brings together people particularly active in Bratislava and Košice, while related Paralelná Polis spaces exist in Prague, Vienna, and Barcelona.

The initiative explores practical alternatives to centralized systems, including Bitcoin, blockchain, peer-to-peer networks, anonymous networks, reputation systems, and shared-economy models. Its Institute of Cryptoanarchy provides a setting for research, education, and connecting people through talks, events, and community activities. These include regular Bitcoin and Ethereum meetups, as well as biohacking gatherings.

Paralelná Polis also shares educational resources on getting started with cryptocurrencies, using them in business, and paying with them, alongside articles and projects related to digital freedom and decentralization. The organization invites people to participate, organize events, join its newsletter, or provide financial support, including donations in Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.
