Parallax Press

Parallax Press is a nonprofit publisher founded and inspired by Zen Master Thích Nhất Hạnh. Its mission is to share teachings and practical resources for bringing mindfulness into daily life, personal relationships, and communities. The press publishes books by Thích Nhất Hạnh and a wide range of other authors, including Buddhist teachers, practitioners, and voices addressing social change, healing, and well-being.

Its catalog covers mindfulness practice, meditation, engaged Buddhism, ethical living, racial healing, nonviolence, recovery, grief, and personal transformation. Readers can find accessible introductions to Buddhist teachings, guided practices, memoirs, cookbooks, and books on applying mindfulness at home, in civic life, and in organizations. Parallax Press also offers special hardcover and gift editions, calligraphies, mindfulness-themed goods, and The Mindfulness Bell magazine.
