The College offers a wide range of services to its members, including conferences, professional development workshops, online learning, and research opportunities.

They also provide a peer-reviewed journal and grants for education and research activities. Additionally, the College assists members in meeting registration standards set by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and offers career and wellbeing services. Established in 1973, the ACP has a rich history, evolving from the Institute of Ambulance Officers to the Australian College of Ambulance Professionals before becoming the Australasian College of Paramedicine. They are dedicated to representing and supporting paramedics across Australia and New Zealand, recognizing and respecting the significance of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and Māori as the traditional custodians and partners
