Paranoid Image is a unique and captivating band that offers a refreshing blend of acoustic instrumentation and diverse musical genres. Conceived by Christopher Malone and Sara Geller, the band was born out of their shared passion for music and desire to create something truly exceptional. With Christopher's background in alternative and industrial music, combined with Sara's expertise in South American dance and jazz styles, Paranoid Image delivers a sound that is both energetic and emotionally captivating.

Rather than relying on traditional rock or South American instruments, Paranoid Image embraces the use of folk music-style instruments like mandolin, acoustic guitar, banjo, piano, and hand percussion. This unconventional approach breathes new life into their music, allowing listeners to experience a fusion of salsa, bachata, tango, and samba rhythms like never before. The name Paranoid Image was inspired by the surrealist art technique called the Paranoiac-Critical Method, developed by Salvador Dalí.

The band aims to create music that surprises and excites the audience, challenging the norms of standard sounds and electronica often associated with similar genres. Paranoid Image's first single, a cover of TVOTR's Keep Your Heart, was released in January 2018. Since then, they have continued to refine and expand their sound, welcoming talented musicians like Elizabeth Nelles, Al Buffone III, and Jim Vaughan into the group.

In June 2018, they proudly unveiled their debut album, Burning Paint, a collection of ten diverse songs that showcases the band's creativity and eclectic nature. As Paranoid Image continues to evolve, they remain committed to their unique acoustic sound and the use of hand percussion. Although their genre may be difficult to define, their artistry speaks for itself, offering listeners a truly captivating and enjoyable experience
