Parapente Planète is a paragliding school based in Les Carroz d’Arâches in Haute-Savoie, France. Established in 2010 and recognised by the French Free Flight Federation (FFVL), it introduces visitors to the skies above the Grand Massif and the surrounding Alpine region. Its professional instructors offer tandem flights for those seeking a memorable aerial experience, as well as training for beginners and pilots looking to develop their skills.
Introductory courses combine ground practice and theory, with students typically able to attempt a first solo flight after three days in suitable calm conditions, guided by radio. Further options include supervised flights, skills-development sessions and courses, and assistance with paragliding certificates at several levels. The school also offers educational tandem flights. From April to October, its programmes cater to a range of experience levels and are arranged through a published calendar. With a welcoming, club-minded approach, Parapente Planète shares its passion for mountain flying, discovery and community, making use of varied local flying sites, including areas around Samoëns, Passy and Mieussy.
