The Swiss Paraplegic Group (SPG) is a unique integral network for individuals with spinal cord injuries and back injuries. Founded by Dr. Guido A.
Zäch in the 1970s, the organization aims to provide comprehensive services to enhance the quality of life for those affected by paralysis. The SPG offers a range of services including medical care, rehabilitation, assistive devices, educational programs, sports and leisure activities, and more. Through its various subsidiary companies and partner organizations, the SPG forms the Swiss Paraplegic Group, with around 1800 professionals working together to maintain this exceptional network.
The SPG focuses on solidarity, medical care, education, research, innovation, integration, and lifelong support to ensure individuals with spinal cord injuries can lead self-determined lives with optimal health.
