PARA Vida Sem Drogas

Associação PARA Vida Sem Drogas is a Christian, interdenominational, nonprofit organization based in São José dos Pinhais, Paraná, Brazil. Founded in 1997, it provides social, educational, and cultural support focused on preventing and addressing drug dependence. Its work is organized around prevention, treatment support, social reintegration, and family counseling.

The association meets with children and adolescents to help them face everyday challenges and resist drug use and involvement in trafficking. For men experiencing chemical dependency, it offers treatment through its Decisão therapeutic community or helps them find appropriate assistance. Through partnerships, it also reaches people experiencing homelessness who are affected by addiction.

After treatment, the organization maintains contact to support participants’ return to community life and runs support groups for families and others affected by dependency. Weekly meetings provide listening, prayer, and mutual support through groups in São José dos Pinhais and Curitiba.
