David, who worked as a title examiner, grew tired of constantly having to go to the assessor's office for data.

This led him to create Microfiche Publishers, Inc., a pioneering company in the property information industry. They provided a convenient, flexible, and cost-effective way to supply accurate property data and parcel maps. In 1995, David's son, Grant, launched ParcelQuest, delivering assessor's parcel data and plat maps through CD-ROMs and the internet.

Today, ParcelQuest is the sole provider of daily updated county assessor property data in California. They offer a range of features and services including Parcel Search, APN Maps, Zoning Parcel Search, GIS Exports & Reports, and more.
