Parc Linéaire des Bois-Francs is a cycling and outdoor recreation destination in Quebec’s Centre-du-Québec region. Its free, 77-kilometre trail follows a former railway corridor through nine municipalities, connecting Tingwick, Warwick, Saint-Christophe-d’Arthabaska, Victoriaville, Princeville, Plessisville, Laurierville and Lyster, with a branch to Kingsey Falls. Open from May to November, the trail is surfaced with stone dust for about 90 percent of its length and has a maximum gradient of 2 percent, making it a gentle route for exploring the region.
Cyclists pass through forests, fields, urban areas and the broad, relatively flat landscapes of the St. Lawrence Lowlands, with frequent open views and rest stops along the way. The route is marked as part of the Route Verte and recognized as a Trans Canada Trail.
It also connects south to the Sentier des Corridors Verts in the Eastern Townships and northeast to the Parc linéaire de la MRC de Lotbinière, toward Quebec City. The organization provides trail information, maps, parking details and patrol contacts
