Parenting Consultancy

Parenting Consultancy is a child and family psychology practice led by Carine Kielstra, offering practical support to parents and children. Its approach draws on current research into child development and behaviour, with the goal of helping families build positive communication and strategies that support children’s emotional and social development. Because every family’s needs are different, Carine works with parents to create personalized plans around their concerns and goals.

Support may address tantrums, challenging behaviour, difficult routines such as mealtimes, bedtime or screen use, parent-child relationships, and challenges a child is experiencing at school. Services are available online, in the family’s home, at the practice, or at the International School of Amsterdam. The consultancy also works directly with children in school settings, including classrooms and recess, as well as in individual sessions.
