Its mission is to promote human development and dignity by making scientific culture accessible and encouraging learning from school age onward. The association organizes educational activities, cultural and science events, seminars, exhibitions, competitions, and opportunities to explore scientific subjects and technologies. It also supports the rediscovery of scientific studies by authors from Basilicata.

A distinctive feature of pariMpari’s approach is the use of play and hands-on experiences to make mathematics engaging. Its workshops invite primary and lower-secondary students to take part individually or in groups, using simple materials to explore mathematics, logic, combinatorics, coding, algorithms, and problem-solving skills. Activities such as those presented for the European Researchers’ Night connect learning with research and innovation, helping participants build knowledge through active involvement.
