Paris Basket Fauteuil

Paris Basket Fauteuil is a Paris-based sports association founded in May 2021 by Sofyane Mehiaoui, a high-level athlete and member of France’s wheelchair basketball team. The club brings together sporting ambition and inclusion, using wheelchair basketball to help young people with disabilities build independence, confidence and self-belief. Its teams compete at several levels, including Nationale 2 and 3, U23 and women’s basketball, with matches hosted at Paris’s adidas arena. The club also welcomes people interested in discovering the sport, including young players, beginners and recreational participants, and provides information about training, locations, fees and registration.

Beyond regular sporting activities, Paris Basket Fauteuil offers wheelchair basketball awareness sessions for schools, businesses, local authorities and associations in Paris and across the Île-de-France region. Led by its players and high-level athletes, these interactive experiences introduce participants to the demands of parasport, encourage teamwork and promote a more informed perspective on disability. The club shares match schedules, results, news and media through its website and social channels, and invites supporters to attend games, partner with the association or make a donation.
