Parkinson Rieti

Associazione Parkinson Rieti is a nonprofit organisation dedicated to solidarity and to improving the quality of life of people living with Parkinson’s disease. It works to build awareness of the condition and its many effects, while creating opportunities for patients and families to learn, connect and take part in community life. The association offers psychoeducational meetings for people with Parkinson’s and their relatives, including sessions led in collaboration with a neurologist from the Rieti local health service.

Its initiatives also include social gatherings, cultural outings and shared activities such as Tai Chi Chuan, art therapy, music events and “Passi di Tango e Parkinson. ” Through these programmes, the organisation promotes participation, mutual support and meaningful moments of companionship. Events range from local visits and seasonal get-togethers to concerts and activities connected with the National Parkinson’s Day.

The association also invites people to join and provides ways to support its work. By combining information, creative experiences and social connection, Associazione Parkinson Rieti helps foster understanding of Parkinson’s and a stronger sense of community for those affected
