Park ON

Stowarzyszenie Park On is a Gdańsk-based nonprofit supporting people with Parkinson’s disease and other degenerative brain conditions, as well as their caregivers. Its work focuses on health promotion, care and social support, access to treatment, rehabilitation, and helping participants remain engaged in community life. The organization takes a holistic approach, combining movement, creative activities, practical workshops, and emotional support to address the varied effects of neurological conditions.

Its regular program includes adapted exercise, art therapy, dance therapy, relaxation techniques, mindful-walking and nutrition workshops, Body Percussion, acting and diction activities, and group meetings with a psychologist for people with disabilities and caregivers. The association also plans neurological speech therapy and neuropsychological sessions. Beyond its classes, Park On arranges cultural outings and encourages participants to share interests, build relationships, and take part in creative projects. It also organizes public events, including the Oblicza Parkinsona conference and concerts in Oliwa Park. Based in Gdańsk, the association welcomes people living with illness, caregivers, volunteers, activity leaders, and others who wish to support its work.
