Park Ridge Football and Cheer is a well-established youth sports organization dedicated to developing student-athletes in the Park Ridge area for over four decades. Founded in 1967, originally as Mighty Mite Youth Sports, this non-profit organization has evolved to focus primarily on providing outstanding football and cheerleading programs. Affiliated with the Park Ridge Park District, it is recognized for cultivating well-trained, disciplined young athletes equipped with skills and essential qualities such as sportsmanship and teamwork.

The organization offers a variety of competitive and fun programs, including travel tackle football, flag football, and various cheerleading disciplines—each designed to foster personal development and create lifelong positive memories for participants. The mission emphasizes creating a safe and supportive environment that promotes self-respect, discipline, and pride, while also forging friendships and a strong sense of community spirit. Supported entirely by participant fees and donations, Park Ridge Football and Cheer is driven by the commitment of dedicated volunteers, ensuring that the emphasis remains on enjoying the sports experience for all involved.
