Parktown is a modern tropical roleplay city and community in Second Life, set along a coastal landscape of palm-lined boulevards, ocean breezes, and welcoming neighborhoods. Designed for people who want to create a character and build a life through shared stories, Parktown invites residents to explore the main city and Westview, a quieter harbor-side area with beaches. The community offers a range of ways to take part, including roleplay jobs, events, a community hub, and radio.

Its real estate options include ocean-view apartments, beach houses, spacious villas, and shop rentals for residents interested in running a business. Parktown also describes a citizen system intended to bring together services such as tax payments, ATMs, residency applications, and identity management; this feature is listed as coming soon. The website is under construction, with a full launch planned, and provides links for getting started, joining the community, and browsing rentals.

Parktown presents itself as a place to connect, participate, and shape a new coastal roleplay life
