Parking Company of America

Parking Company of America (PCA) is a pioneering organization established in 1964 by the Chaves brothers in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Originally founded to secure parking solutions through two small lots, PCA has since grown into the world’s largest privately-owned parking company, operating in twenty-five major cities by the 1970s. PCA is renowned for its innovative products, including the patented mechanical parking meter, which revolutionized the industry and remained a cornerstone of its operations.

The brand focuses on a wide array of services including parking management, transportation, hotel and hospitality solutions, and comprehensive healthcare services. Over the decades, PCA has expanded into real estate development, continuously adapting its business model to optimize efficiency and customer independence. The company remains a family-operated enterprise, with the third generation now at the helm, ensuring that the vision and legacy of its founders live on. As PCA looks to the future, it continues to be committed to excellence and customer satisfaction in all aspects of its operations.
