These laws undergo a comprehensive process, starting as draft bills and ending with the President's assent. In addition to lawmaking, Parliament also plays a crucial critical/inquisitorial role. During Question Time, Members of Parliament (MPs) have the opportunity to hold Ministers accountable and raise questions about their respective ministries.
