About Parliamentary Forum on Small Arms & Light Weapons
The Parliamentary Forum on Small Arms & Light Weapons (PFSALW) is an organization dedicated to promoting peace and sustainable development by taking parliamentary action against armed violence. With the aim of increasing human security, the forum focuses on addressing the issue of small arms and light weapons, which serve as violence multipliers in conflicts around the world. Through policy advocacy, events, and active participation in international conferences, the PFSALW strives to reduce the circulation of firearms and prevent the loss of lives caused by armed violence.
They work towards the achievement of Global Goal 16. 4 of the 2030 Agenda, which aims to significantly reduce illicit arms flows. Parliamentarians and interested individuals can join the forum and contribute to their mission.
