Calorimeters Africa is the official African agent for Parr Instrument Company, a US manufacturer with more than 100 years of experience producing high-precision oxygen bomb calorimeters. The company specializes in selling, renting, servicing, repairing and calibrating Parr calorimeters, supporting customers across a range of African countries. Its instruments are used to test combustible materials, including solid and liquid fuels and foodstuffs, and to conduct chemical tests under heat and pressure. They serve industries such as fuel, chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical and biotechnology.
Calorimeters Africa also supplies consumables and accessories, including calorimetric standards, oxygen combustion bombs, fuel and gelatin capsules, VM crucibles, maintenance kits and water management systems. Options are available for Parr 6000 Series instruments. Customers can choose affordable short- or long-term rental contracts as an alternative to a large capital purchase. The company’s trained technicians provide servicing and repairs, with service contracts available to support instrument performance. Based in Springs, South Africa, Calorimeters Africa offers product guidance, sales support and technical assistance.
