**Brand Description: PIA - Partner in Assistentie**
PIA, short for Partner in Assistentie, is dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities to live independently and lead fulfilling lives. Based in Hasselt, Belgium, PIA emerged from a collaboration among three organizations: ADO Icarus, Focus on Emancipation, and Partner in Assistentie. This partnership has created a comprehensive support hub, enhancing autonomy and quality of life for its users.
PIA offers a diverse range of services, including housing support, personal assistance, volunteer opportunities, and emergency alarm assistance. For budget holders of personal assistance budgets (PVB or PAB), PIA provides the option to hire a personal assistant for daily activities, either allowing them to be the employer or taking on that role themselves. Their housing support services cater to individuals with physical disabilities, offering fully adapted living spaces under social housing schemes to ensure comfort and accessibility.
With PIA, you gain a reliable partner committed to your individual needs and support requirements, facilitating a path towards independence.
