The Penang Animal Sanctuary Society (PASS) is a dedicated non-profit organization established in 2003, committed to providing a safe haven for stray and abandoned animals in Penang. Currently in the process of developing a proposed no-kill animal shelter, PASS is focused on the care of dogs, cats, and tortoises, ensuring that every animal is treated with compassion and dignity. The organization operates under a strong advocacy for a no-kill policy, believing that all creatures deserve a right to live and thrive.
With the support of Majlis Bandaraya Pulau Pinang (MBPP) and the Penang State Government, PASS is nearing the completion of its first phase of the animal sanctuary, strategically located next to Taman Metropolitan, Relau. PASS engages the community through various events and activities, while encouraging support through donations to further its mission. By fostering awareness and compassion, PASS aims to create a brighter future for animals in need.
