Passathon is a pioneering initiative that merges sustainable architecture with outdoor exploration, inviting participants to discover exemplary climate protection projects across Austria. Launched in April 2024 for its sixth season, passathon - RACE FOR FUTURE aims to become the world's largest citizen participation event focused on eco-friendly building practices. Hosted from April 4 to September 30, passathon enables cyclists to navigate through 722 designated landmarks known as "passathon Leuchttürme," which showcase innovative approaches to sustainability, including Passive House and PLUS-energy standards.

Participants can engage in guided group tours, exploring restoration projects that exemplify climate-friendly living. Along the way, riders have the chance to win various prizes, making environmental advocacy an enjoyable adventure.
