SimpleLogin is an open-source email alias service designed to help people protect their privacy and keep their inboxes safer from spam and phishing. Based in Switzerland, the service lets users create aliases to use instead of their real email address when signing up for websites, newsletters, and other online services. Messages sent to an alias are forwarded to a chosen mailbox, while users can reply or send new emails from the alias without revealing their personal address.

Aliases can be created and managed through SimpleLogin’s website, Chrome, Firefox, and Safari extensions, and Android and iOS apps. Users can also create aliases using a custom domain or SimpleLogin subdomain, connect multiple mailboxes, and encrypt forwarded messages with their own PGP key. Account protection options include two-factor authentication with TOTP or WebAuthn.
