Passepartout is an open-source VPN and privacy app developed by Davide De Rosa for Apple platforms. Built with the Partout framework, it provides a single client for connecting through OpenVPN, including support for the XOR patch, and WireGuard. The app also offers on-demand connection rules, custom routing, and options to override DNS settings and HTTP proxies, giving users ways to tailor network behavior to their needs.

Designed for Apple devices, Passepartout is available for Apple TV and supports iCloud Shortcuts. It avoids background activity and is designed to be mindful of battery use. Users can download the app through the App Store, try restricted early versions through TestFlight, or obtain standalone Mac releases from GitHub. The standalone Mac version is currently limited to free features and is available for both Apple Silicon and Intel; Homebrew installation is also supported.

Passepartout shares product updates through its blog and welcomes questions, issue reports, suggestions, and discussion through its FAQ, GitHub community, and Reddit.
