About Pasteleria La Marina
Pastelería La Marina, located in Madrid, has been crafting delectable pastries since 1933. With a rich history spanning over 87 years, this family-owned bakery has upheld its artisanal traditions and continues to create each product with dedication and precision. The founder, Justo Arranz, drew inspiration from his experience as a cook and baker in the Marina Corps during his military service in Tánger.
Naming his new venture after this meaningful chapter, he opened the bakery on Alberto Aguilera Street, which once featured a wide boulevard. Over the years, La Marina has become renowned for its recipes, with the Roscón de Reyes (King's Cake) being their most famous creation. Despite facing challenges such as the Spanish Civil War, the bakery persevered and has been a beloved institution in Madrid, passing down its expertise through four generations of family members.
Now located in Villanueva del Pardillo, La Marina, led by Javier and Nines, carries on the same traditions and legacy, ensuring that the name 'La Marina' remains synonymous with exceptional pastries throughout the city
