Pastika Kabupaten Sragen is an officially established foundation dedicated to documenting, studying, sharing, and preserving the history and cultural heritage of Sragen, Indonesia. Formed from a collaboration of local history and heritage communities, Pastika grew through initiatives including Ekspedisi Sukowati and, from 2024, Ekspedisi Mangkubumi. Its work focuses on researching local histories, village origins, cultural heritage, and historical sites, with the aim of making this knowledge accessible and meaningful to future generations.

Pastika’s activities include field observations and expeditions, gathering and verifying historical sources, preparing written narratives, and providing education and opportunities for discussion. Its research covers cultural heritage and the history of villages across Sragen, as well as sites associated with Pangeran Mangkubumi, also known as Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono I. The foundation views local culture and village history as important contributors to Indonesia’s wider historical story and cultural identity. Based in Sragen, Pastika brings together people committed to heritage preservation and public learning, helping communities recognize and value the histories and traditions of their region.
