Patates Dolbec is a family-owned Quebec agricultural company specializing in growing and supplying potatoes. Founded in 1967 with 25 acres, a horse and a plow, the business has developed over three generations into a major producer in Eastern Canada. Its work combines longstanding farming experience with an innovative approach, including modern packaging operations and a seed laboratory.
The company offers a year-round range of potatoes for everyday cooking, including yellow, red, white and Russet varieties, sold in table and small, “creamer” formats. Its products are presented as versatile ingredients for meals ranging from simple family dishes to recipes shared with friends. Patates Dolbec also provides recipes, news and videos about its products and agricultural operations through its website.
As a large regional producer, the company supplements its own harvest by sourcing potatoes from other Quebec growers, and ships a portion of its stock to Ontario and the United States. Patates Dolbec also emphasizes its team and community involvement, and recruits for roles in production, packaging and agricultural mechanics.
