ONG Pather Nostrum

Pather Nostrum is a Chilean nonprofit organization founded in 2007 with Christian Catholic foundations. It works to promote the rights, inclusion, and independence of people with physical, sensory, psychosocial, intellectual, and other disabilities, providing sustained support through care, rehabilitation, education, training, and employment programs. Its services include an occupational center where participants build practical skills and autonomy through multidisciplinary workshops, residential care with accommodation and specialized assistance, and outpatient programs offering educational activities and rehabilitation.

The organization also promotes inclusive education for children and young people, provides training to strengthen social and workplace skills, and offers long-term care services for older adults. Pather Nostrum supports employment inclusion by helping people develop employability and by advising companies on compliance with Chile’s Law 21. 015.

Its work is supported by donations, partners, and volunteers, including professional volunteers and sponsors who assist people without family support. Through programs across several Chilean regions, the organization aims to transform disability into greater opportunity, participation, and quality of life
