About PathFinders Hong Kong 融幼社
PathFinders Hong Kong 融幼社 is a brand that focuses on providing support and assistance to migrant domestic workers (MDWs) in Hong Kong. MDWs play a critical role in supporting households with young children and the elderly, but they often face challenges and obstacles, especially when they become pregnant. PathFinders helps bridge the gap for pregnant MDWs who are unlawfully fired or pressured to resign.
These women face homelessness, loss of access to welfare and healthcare services, and their children become undocumented and lack essential services. PathFinders offers a range of services including crisis intervention, safety and security, good health and nutrition, and access to education. The brand also engages employers and employment agencies to promote systemic change and empower MDWs.
