Florida Prepaid College Foundation

The Florida Prepaid College Foundation is dedicated to enhancing educational opportunities for Florida's most economically disadvantaged students. With initiatives such as the Path to Prosperity Scholarship Program, the Foundation aims to raise $20 million in college scholarships specifically for students in grades 9-12 from the state's most impoverished areas. By collaborating with the Florida Chamber Foundation, the program addresses the critical issue of educational inequity, considered one of the key contributors to generational poverty in Florida.

Through a unique matching program, every dollar donated to support scholarships is matched by the Foundation, effectively doubling the impact on students' futures. The scholarship program opens pathways to higher education for over 5,000 students while encouraging donor participation from businesses and organizations, fostering a community effort in the fight against childhood poverty. With a strong focus on academic potential, the Foundation strives to uplift students who demonstrate resilience despite significant challenges, guiding them toward brighter futures through accessible college education.
